Why Real World Learning (RWL)?
We make education relevant through connecting students with the workforce. Here at Da Vinci, we believe in cultivating the next generation of world-ready students. Da Vinci Schools’ college and career-ready model puts project-based, real-world learning aligned to workforce needs at the center of a collaborative learning environment. Industry and higher education partners play a vital role by defining the knowledge and skills sets students need to know for college and 21st century jobs.
We partner with companies to give students workplace skills that aren’t typically taught within academic curriculum. Through industry partner-supported learning experiences such as project support, internships, mentorship, workshops and tours, partners cultivate the next generation of the modern workforce and their own pipeline of diverse employees. Key partners include 72andSunny advertising agency, Belkin International, Gensler Architecture, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, and more. |

What is Real World Learning?
How do you aspire to a career that you've never heard of? RWL at Da Vinci Schools remedies this problem. Students and staff connect with companies in order to gain feedback, experience, and skills needed for the 21st century. This is done through on and off-campus learning experiences such as teacher professional development at industry sites, student internships, student project consultations, project collaboration, Project Pitches Panels, and more. The goal of the Real World Learning Program is to bridge the gap between the classroom and the workplace.
